I hate insects and would have never thought to worry about being bitten. I saw an episode of the television show infested where a families home out west was overtaken by Scorpions.

Had my first encounter with a camel spider out here at FOB-Warrior and since have not felt safe going to sleep. I shake my sheets out and inspect them with in depth precision before turning in for the night. Used to say I was more fearful of the camel spiders than the rockets, that was until they shot in a rocket that jolted us from our beds and onto the floors at 0545. I would have gladly curled up to a camel spider than to feel that sensation again LOL!!

How he got a phone line thru and endured the the long wait in line I will have no idea but I was grateful that he persevered.
