Liisa,
I found out about this blog in today's TBT, and wanted to thank you and your husband for sharing this adventure with us. My husband is over in AFG right now also, so it's been fun to read your posts and see that I'm not alone! I can especially relate to the terrible phone connections and the stories of long lines at MWR. I swear my eardrums have almost been blown out a few times by the crazy noises on the phone lines!
God bless you both.

Thank you for allowing others to share in this personal interaction with your loved ones. We owe so to our men and women who have and continue to risk everything for our nation in the name of freedom. God bless them all. Just want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for keeping us safe and informed. My heart goes out to all our military and their families for doing the ultimate sacrifice, serving your country.

God bless our military families...

Sincerely,
