SMSGT Temple,

I found your blog on a google search one night. I am currently a MA National Gaurd Soldier and we are preparing to deploy in coming months. We will be part of an ETT in Afghanistan as well. I currently have 8 years of service in the military. 4 of them being active duty.

I just wanted to let you know that your blog has been very informative. I am very unfamiliar with Afghanistan or the mobilization process. I have yet to be deployed although most of my military friends have. Although I wish I had deployed, my unit assignments have always been with units just returning. I look forward to this upcoming deployment, although I'll be saddened to leave my family.

I would like to thank you for the insight, and enlightenment your blog has given me involving mobilization training, Afghanistan, and the function of the ETT.

I know your very busy but feel free to contact me at the attached email address if you wish. I wish you a safe completion to your deployment and thank you for putting this blog together.

Respectfully,
CPL Porter
