Donated school supplies fill the back of Liisa's vehicle
From Liisa, SMSgt Temple’s wife: Rex got back safely from his latest mission but was too exhausted to write anything today. So instead I’m borrowing the space tonight to show you couple of encouraging photos from the school supplies drive. The first photo is the back of my car – filled with donated school supplies. The second photo is the back of Rex’s car with donated supplies right before we headed out to Tampa’s main post office to ship this car load to Afghanistan earlier this afternoon. We ran out of packing tape and customs forms so we only shipped 11 boxes today; 6 more boxes are sitting in my car and I will get a lot more tomorrow when I meet with some former students at University

of South Florida who have been collecting supplies since the beginning of the fall semester.
I hear our other locations are making great progress too. Our “side office” run by our friend Carolyn Matthews in Biloxi, Miss., apparently managed to ship off 20 boxes this weekend. And we hear there are plenty of donations also being dropped off at “Colonial Quilts,” our side office in Savannah, Ga.
And the packages that are being shipped directly to Rex by donors who read his guest column in The Plain Dealer newspaper in Ohio are also starting to arrive. Rex told me today that he received a school supplies shipment from someone in Cleveland. He is really looking forward to sharing his pictures from when they can go deliver some of the supplies to the area school.

Hi, I was wondering if I could possibly exchange emails with the owner(s) of this project? I’m doing a school project on trying to set up a sister relationship with a school in Afghanistan in an effort to help and would love it if I could talk to you about a few things. Also, are there any schools that you personally have contact with or if you know of anyways to contact a school in Afghanistan
Our company has been distributing food, school supplies and other goods for a while, we work with the army. If you read our web site it will give more information.
I can supply you with the names of schools or any other information you might require.
Currently I am in Afghanistan.
