From Liisa SMSgt Temple’s wife: Rex and his team have returned safely from a 5-day Village Medical Operation and Humanitarian Assistance distribution. Apparently the Taliban tried to discourage the villagers from attending, but they were successful in their mission despite some RPGs and several small arms fire attacks.
